LAMIA Biography
LAMIA is a music/visual artist, vocalist, and music producer based between London and Berlin.
LAMIA has a rare form of synesthesia where music and sounds induce mental imagery, dreamscapes and pictures. Inspired by her imaginary visual worlds, she writes, records and produces music influenced by industrial sounds, haunting vocals and cinematic soundscapes.
In January 2024, LAMIA graduated with Distinction in a Master of Music (Mmus) from the world-renowned music department of Goldsmiths University, holding two scholarships to support her studies. She also studied Composition at Leeds Conservatoire and Music at The BRIT school.
LAMIA's recent release of her co-directed 'Paradox' Music Video (the music which she wrote, produced, and recorded) has exploded with interest with screening selections from The Berlin Music Video Awards 2024, 180 Berlin Film Festival 2024, Berlin Indie Film Festival 2025 and winning 'Best Experimental Music Video' at Rome Music Video Awards 2024.
